The Courtyard of Balance

About the project

This project transforms the traditional courtyard into the environmental and social heart of a contemporary workplace, where sustainability is achieved through architecture itself rather than relying solely on technology.

The central courtyard is the primary environmental engine of the complex — a protected microclimate where shade, vegetation, thermal mass, and natural airflow work together. The stone-clad volumes are assembled from irregular limestone pieces in a handcrafted pattern, storing heat during the day and releasing it after sunset.
