About the project
The method of protection from heat and sun light is one of the biggest challenges in the desert environment. Traditionally, tents (kheimah) used by the bedouin people to create a shade have inspired the design of this villa — transformed into modern front elements with the same sitting-area vibe, showing off the great views of Dubai's architecture.
A bold structural element — an elevated frame — links the villa's main spaces, creating both a visual statement and a functional connector. Natural ventilation through the central courtyard and thoughtful orientation directs wind seamlessly across the residence.
With its striking geometric lines, warm wooden accents, and integration of traditional inspiration, Kheimah Villa is a sustainable retreat where design and environment work in perfect balance.
