About the project
NEWCLEUS symbolizes a scientific laboratory as a core learning space in modern universities. The name combines “new” and “nucleus” to emphasize innovation, with the motto “…in search of new clues” highlighting this theme.
The design features a crescent shape symbolizing local culture, with advanced water technologies including an Atmospheric Water Generator for drinking water and air harvesting for irrigation, complemented by around 600 rooftop solar panels.
Sitting proudly in the centromere is the UAE map like a badge for the project, with the UAE flag adorning the top of NEWCLEUS, mirrored in a fountain below.

Openings towards the landscape follow the concept of chromatin loops — creating a relationship between outside and inside through the windows.
Water from air
Two revolutionary technologies: an Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) creating pure drinking water from humidity, and air-harvesting for irrigation — with sterilized air and around 600 rooftop solar panels.
